On the sixteenth LORD’s Day of this year, as we gather in our temporary location before moving to the new one, the LORD has blessed His people by reminding us of His independence, self-sufficiency, eternality, infinity, and the great salvation that we must value. God is indeed faithful. We are thankful to God since His glory does not reside on a building but His gathered people, that the foundation of our salvation is not the church building but the Rock of our salvation, Jesus Christ.

The Independence of God Text: Romans 11:34-35 I. You can't counsel God v. 34 II. You can't obligate God v. 35 We can never know the mind of the LORD unless He graciously reveals it to us. As our God is infinite so are His ways and judgments. God does not need our counsel. But how many times did we try to counsel our God?
Weighty truth: God does not need you. God does not need us. God needs nothing from us. God does not require our existence for His survival.

Our salvation is great not because of the saved ones, but because of the person and work of the Savior.
