A. Hindi.

English Version

Q.30. Did Adam keep the covenant of life?
A. No. He sinned against God. (Gen 3:6)

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

Genesis 3:6 ESV

This is the saddest event in the history of God’s creation. Even though God’s command and the danger of disobeying it were clear, Adam still sinned. He chose not to obey God.

Although Eve picked the fruit, the fact that she was with Adam and they both knew they ate what God had forbidden proves that Adam’s sin was a rebellion against God and a failure to keep God’s clear command.

Since children are also sinners, explain to them that this is also the reason they disobey their parents. They were born into the world with a heart that disobeys God.
