31 Days of Purity by Tim Challies

Seven years ago, Tim Challies, pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Toronto, Ontario, and a co-founder of Cruciform Press, launched his blog on 31 days of Purity. Sexual sin is one that plagues even the church of Jesus Christ. There must be a daily battle against it. His blog was aimed to focus on what the Bible says about sexual purity. I believe it was used by God. Even today it is beneficial, for those who are young and those who are old, for those who are married and those who are single, for those who struggle mightily in the area of sexual sin and for those who may barely struggle at all.

Sometimes, I lost track of it since I read some other things and I go back to specific days as I saw it fit, though it is meant to be read daily in 31 days. So I put the link below per day for easy tracking.

  33. Have You Committed The Unpardonable Sin?
Update: I have added number 32 and 33 that calls for resolution (Bro. Emmanuel Tamargo) and a consideration of the Unpardonable Sin (Tim Challies). We must resolve to fight against sexual sins, after walking through the 30 plus days and you still have no concern for your soul, do not stop! Cry unto God for mercy!

It was a fruitful walk since it helped me to be deeply rooted in the Scripture in my daily battle against sexual sin and other sins as well. The Holy Spirit used it to guide me to pray honestly, boldly, and particularly against the different aspects of this sin. Truly, it is a gift to the church. By the grace of God, He sustained me. The battle didn’t stop after the 31 days of purity, but the LORD granted me a better understanding of who I am in Christ as His loved servant in my daily walk of sanctification and my daily need of the gospel until He comes.

How do you fight against sexual sin?
